How billing works
What counts as an article?
An article counts once it starts being written: researched, drafted, illustrated and sent to you for review. Ideas, plans and Facebook posts are not articles.
What are writes?
A write is one go at an article: the first draft, or writing it again after you send it back to start over. Every plan has twice as many writes as articles, so each article can be written again once without costing another. Fixing the text or changing pictures is not a new write.
Do unused articles carry over?
No. Your articles renew every month on the day your plan started. On a yearly plan they still renew monthly; you just pay once a year, with two months free.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time, from Manage billing in the app. Moving up starts at once, and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. Moving down or cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. After cancelling, everything you made stays where it is and readable in the app.
What if I have more sites than my plan allows?
Pause the sites you do not need now: a paused site keeps its articles and settings, and nothing new is written for it. Unpause it any time there is room, or move up a plan.
What happens if a payment fails?
You get seven days to update your card, and writing carries on meanwhile. After that, new articles wait until the payment goes through. Nothing already written or scheduled is lost.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up with Google, a passkey or an emailed link and you can have 3 articles written, with everything in the product. No card is needed. When they are used, pick a plan from inside the app to carry on.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax where it applies. Invoices are in Manage billing.
