How to delete your data

You can delete your login, or a whole AuthorFox account. Here is what each one does.

Delete your login

Open your Account page, go to Sign-in and security and choose Delete my login. We remove you from every account you belong to and delete your sign-in methods, notification settings and personal details. This can’t be undone. What you wrote stays with the account, without your name. If you are the only owner of an account, add another owner or delete the account first.

Delete an account

Only an account’s owners can do this: open your Account page and choose Delete this account. Work stops at once and billing is cancelled; refunds aren’t automatic. For 30 days you can still export your data or undo the deletion, so export first if you want a copy. After that we delete everything in the account, except money records (payments, plans, costs and usage) and an audit trail with personal details removed. Those are kept for 7 years and then deleted too.

Posts already published

Posts already published stay on your sites and Facebook Pages. Remove them there. To disconnect AuthorFox from Facebook, remove the app under Facebook Settings → Business integrations.

Can’t sign in?

Email [email protected] from the address on the login and tell us what you want deleted.
